The Brief
Avanade and SSE Renewables share a strategic partnership focused on advancing renewable energy while protecting marine life and local ecosystems. They wanted to tell the story of their joint Digital Ventures team in a way that felt authentic and impactful, not just another technical case study.
The Thinking
Instead of filming in an office, the team was taken into the field, where the technology was making a real difference. Over a week-long filming trip across Scotland, the crew visited wind farms, coastal power stations and even filmed at sea, interviewing engineers and experts on the ground.

The Outcome
A series of videos was produced, each showcasing a different project or solution. Used across campaigns and internal channels, the content captured the scale of the sites, the beauty of the landscape and the passion of the people driving the work, bringing the story to life in a way that sticks.
