The Brief

As part of the Microsoft Customer Advocacy Programme, PRS for Music, the UK's Performing Rights Society, wanted to share how Microsoft cloud solutions were modernising their operations and improving outcomes. The transformation was impressive, but the story needed a human connection.

The Thinking

Rather than only focusing on PRS, the story was told through one of their customers: Dr Meaker, an independent musician and PRS member. By showing how PRS's improved systems ensured faster, smarter and more transparent royalty payments for artists like him, the video gave the story a new emotional dimension.

The Outcome

The final video became one of the standout assets in Microsoft's advocacy programme. It demonstrated both the technical achievements and the human impact, showing why a "customer's customer" perspective can make a case study more relatable and memorable.
